"The only irreplaceable capital an organization has, is the knowledge and capability of its people.
Productivity of that capital depends on how effectively people share their core competence with
those who can use it"

As a leader you can imagine your working environment as a fertile land.

If you imagine a beautiful picture of an English Garden for this working environment, then you need: Imagination, planning, suitable plants and continuous care.

When building an organization you should act with your employees in a similar way as the gardener deals with his plants in his garden.

So beautiful and vivid a biotope as a natural habitat may look, it doesn't unfortunately serve you as a model for your organization.

A biotope is left to the laws of nature. Because it is an open habitat for all sorts of creatures, who want to and can live in it.

Organizations with a specific purpose, e.g. to produce a product or to provide a service under certain economic criteria, need to be treated such as a garden.

The staff in your garden "organization" are your valuable plants. The free development of these plants "employees" takes place in the context of the large planning for the garden.

Each plant "employee" is not allowed to prevent other plants "employees" from growth and development.

Your employees are your assets that must be maintained as thoroughly as the financial and knowledge capital because human capital is crucial for the existence of the company.
