"Again and again it happens in the company's history that some unknown competitors
show up out of nothing and stating from
the scratch
. These competitors overhaul
within few years the established market leader without having to work hardly."

DMGQ - Project Management

Project: Risk Management

Introduction to the issues of this project:

The ISO-Norm 31000 - Risk Management System - define the term as follows: "organizations of any type and size are subject ot internal and external factors and influences that make it uncertain whether and when these organizations reach their goals."

The effect of the uncertainty which affects the objectives of an organization is referred to as a "risk".

This ISO standard is increasingly implemented in many companies, not at least because of the effects of the financial crisis and the global business.

This international standard recommends that organizations should develop, implement and continuously improve a framework for a risk management system.  This system should ensure the treatment of risks factors to cover all the processes in corporate management, strategy, project management, planning, management process for product realization and reporting processes.

Risk management may at any time be applied to an entire organization with its many areas and levels, but also partially to specific functions, projects and activities.
